"and" / "both … and" / "not only … but also" / "as well as"
We use the linking words to join similar ideas together.
My friend writes a blog and takes photos at the weekend.
My friend both writes blogs and takes photos at the weekend.
My friend not only writes a blog but also takes photos at the weekend.
My friend writes a blog as well as takes photos at the weekend.

"both … and" / "either … or" / "neither … nor"
In the evening I like both drawing and listening to music.
(I like doing both things.)
In the evening I like either drawing or listening to music.
(I like doing one thing or another. Not both.)
In the evening I like neither drawing nor listening to music.
(I don't like drawing in the evening. I don't like listening to music in the evening.)
